Terms of service

Rules for using the website and the terms on which services are provided electronically.

This is a courtesy translation. In case of any discrepancy, the Polish version of this document is the legally binding one.

These terms of service set out the general conditions, rules and manner of using the Fire Protection Solutions website. This document is the one referred to in Art. 8 of the Polish Act of 18 July 2002 on the provision of services by electronic means.

§ 1. General provisions

  1. The owner and administrator of the website is Fire Protection Solutions Jakub Baran, registered address: ul. Grzybowa 7A lok. 2, 05-825 Grodzisk Mazowiecki, Poland.
  2. The company is entered in the Polish CEIDG business register, VAT ID (NIP): 6182094888, statistical number (REGON): 528892780.

§ 2. Definitions

  • Website – the site available at the fp-solutions.pl domain (or another relevant main domain).
  • Service provider – Fire Protection Solutions Jakub Baran.
  • User – any natural person, legal person or organisational unit using the Website.
  • Electronic services – services provided electronically by the service provider to the User through the Website (e.g. the contact form).

§ 3. Type and scope of services

  1. The Website is primarily informational. It presents the service provider's offering in fire safety engineering (including fire safety manuals, CFD simulations and audits).
  2. Through the Website the service provider offers free electronic services, consisting of allowing Users to send messages via interactive email links and (where applicable) contact forms.

§ 4. Technical requirements and rules of use

  1. Using the Website requires an end device with internet access and a standard web browser (e.g. Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge).
  2. The User undertakes to use the Website lawfully and in good faith, respecting personal rights as well as the copyright and intellectual property of the service provider and third parties.
  3. The User must not supply content of an unlawful nature.

§ 5. Intellectual property

All rights to the Website, including economic copyright and intellectual property rights to its name, domain, templates, forms, logos and photographs published on it (except materials under third-party licences), belong to the service provider. They may be used only in the manner set out in and consistent with these terms, or with the express written consent of the service provider.

§ 6. Liability

  1. Information on the Website is general in nature and does not constitute a binding commercial offer within the meaning of the Polish Civil Code; it is an invitation to negotiate.
  2. The service provider is not liable for decisions made by the User on the basis of materials and information presented on the Website without prior direct consultation and a proper contract for engineering services.

§ 7. Complaints procedure

  1. The User may submit a complaint regarding the operation of the Website and the services provided electronically.
  2. Complaints should be sent by email to biuro@fp-solutions.pl.
  3. The service provider handles complaints without undue delay, no later than 14 days from receipt, informing the User of the outcome at the email address the complaint was sent from.

§ 8. Final provisions

  1. Matters not covered by these terms are governed by generally applicable Polish law.
  2. The service provider reserves the right to amend these terms for valid reasons (e.g. changes in the law or in how services are delivered). Users will be informed of changes through publication of the new text on the Website.
